As a passionate cybersecurity enthusiast & a professional with ColorTokens, participating in the recently concluded 19th Annual Information Security Summit (AISS) 2024, organized by NASSCOM-DSCI, was an invaluable opportunity to immerse myself in the latest trends, innovations, and discussions shaping our industry. 

AISS 2024 lived up to its reputation as India’s premier platform for cybersecurity and data privacy. The summit brought together an impressive array of technology leaders, government officials, and cybersecurity experts, all driven by the theme: “Building Trust in a Cloud-First World: Evolving Security for Speed and Precision”. 

Key Themes and Agenda

The agenda was packed with insightful sessions covering a wide range of critical topics, including: 

  • Security Technology Leadership: Discussions on emerging technologies and their impact on cybersecurity strategies. 
  • Security & Privacy Governance: Exploring the evolving regulatory landscape and best practices for compliance.

One of the key highlights of AISS 2024 was the exceptional networking opportunities it provided. I had the pleasure of engaging with a diverse group of professionals, including:

  • Old Friends: In a delightful surprise, I reconnected with a former colleague whom I hadn’t seen in a decade since our time working together in Doha, Qatar. It was wonderful to catch up and reminisce about our shared experiences.

  • Thought-Provoking Discussions: The panel discussions and keynote sessions were incredibly enlightening. Topics such as Breach Readiness and the impact of digital transformation on forensic investigations stood out as particularly relevant to the current cybersecurity landscape. 
  • Awards Ceremony: The Awards ceremony was a testament to the outstanding contributions made by individuals and organizations in the field of cybersecurity.
